?: How did you came to football?
MMS: I always loved football. I started quite young at a local team here nearby called Bærums Verk. I played some years there, then I changed to another local team, Helset. I played there for 2 years and then I came to Stabæk in the junior divison.

?: Why did you start to play football?
MMS: In the beginning I thought it was fun. And when I was a little child, of course I had dreams of becoming a star in the national team or so (smiling). But now…I don`t know, I have some dreams left I think. I hope to play well at Stabæk now, that`s my main reason for playing here right now.

?: Why did you choose Stabæk?
MMS: It was quite difficult. Because when I left from Helset, me and another young player left, the club and the team didn`t exist after that. The trainees left and so…

?: And there were no other clubs interested din you?
MMS: No, not really. I knew the trainer of Stabæks junior team. He called me and I played for one year with the junior team and then they took me up in the A-team of Stabæk.

?: Why do you like to play here? Is this a special good club?
MMS: Yes, it`s nice people here, we have fun together. I like the way we play football, and I like the club. When I was younger, I was out there, standing and cheering on the tribune. I was a member of Bærget det små…(smiling)

?: How does it feel to come to a professional team with experienced adult players as a young player like you are?
MMS: Yes…it is different to come from a junior team where everybody is almost the same age, but they were nice to me, I think. And there were a few other young players who came up to the first team at the same time, so I think it went fine.

?: You weren`t afraid to play or to make mistakes? You weren`t afraid not to be good enough?
MMS: Of course you are. But you try the best you can That`s all you can do.

?: Wich memories do you have about your first match you played from start for Stabæks first team?
MMS: It was this year, the match against Odd Grenland, away match. It went very well. And it was very much fun, I think. I came on the paper and that was very much fun - for me (smiling) (Morten got a high score at the players statistics and assisted one goal, Anm. d Red.)

?: What do you want to reach with Stabæk this season?
MMS: I hope winning a medal of course!

?: And for the future?
MMS: I hope we can challenge Rosenborg…maybe…in a couple of years. That has to be our main goal, I think. And to get better every year. We have a lot of young players now who get better every year I think.

?: What do you want to reach in your football carreer?
MMS: I don`t know. I don`t have any plans about moving to another country yet. So I concentrate on Stabæk. You don`t know what happens. If I play very well… My contract goes out now and I am talking with the club about a new contract.

?: Your best football memory?
MMS: Oh…maybe the first match I played against Odd.

?: Your worst football memory?
MMS: My worst? Ooohhh…that`s a hard question. It has to be some lost…yes, of course: We played the junior norwegian championship final and we lost 3:1, that was terrible. That`s the worst I think.

?: What is your favourite football club?
MMS: Oh…Stabæk? (laughing) No, I love Start. Start from Kristiansand. They are really good. I like them.

?: And from other countries? Aren`t you interested in international football?
MMS: Hm…hm…yes I am, but I don`t have a favourite club.

?: And your favourite player?
MMS: I like lots of players. In defending I like Chrisian Chivu. He played for Ajax, and plays for Roma now. He is from Romania.

?: For which foreign (non-norwegian) club would you never ever play?
MMS: Never ever? (laughing) Ooohhh….I don`t know. I can`t tell you that now. I don`t now…

?: Have you ever scored an owngoal?
MMS: Not at Stabæk I think. No, I can`t remember any, actually. Maybe when I was young I made a few mistakes.

?: If you could play in a club that gives you lots of money and you could reach a lot of cups and medals with the club, but you don`t like the other players, would you play there?
MMS: NO!!

?: The worst foul an opposite player did to you?
MMS: Nobody dares to tackle me. (smiling) Maybe in training…I think Tom Stenvoll is pretty bad with me (smiling)

?: What would you do if you couldn`t play football anymore? When you are old?
MMS: I hope to take an education. I started now with a pre-school thing. But I don`t know what to study, so I try to find that out now. I think it is important to do something on the side, not just play football.

?: At the moment now you don`t earn that much money. Where do you get your money from to live?
MMS: I still live at my mum`s. But I am moving out now on Wednesday (smiling) and then it is getting a little harder.

?: What are your hobbies?
MMS: Going to the movies with my friends, hanging around with them and watch TV, playing guitar and singing. (smiling) And I read books.

?: Do you go out at night sometimes? And stay away til dawn?
MMS: Yeeeees…of course…but not today! (laughing)

?: Do you think Norge has achance to get to the EM in Portugal next year?
MMS: NO!! I think they are too bad!
